Waitlist

Due to high demand, my books are often closed. As such you will very likely be placed on a waitlist in the first instance. There is no way to know how long this wait may be. You are welcome to have your name on my waitlist whilst also seeing if there is sooner availability elsewhere. You will be contacted when a space becomes available - if you have found someone in the meantime, no worries - just let us know and we will remove you from the waitlist. 

First Session

Prior to the first session you will be required to fill in paperwork. At the beginning of your first session we will run through privacy laws and the limitations of confidentiality outlined by these laws. Then I will ask you questions about yourself, your life, why you are attending therapy and what you hope to gain from our sessions. This may sound daunting, and while it is important that I gather this information, my primary goal for you in the first session is to help you feel less anxious about your visit. Together we will work towards your goals.

Subsequent sessions

We chat. During these sessions you will learn, you will explore and examine, and make connections. You may adopt new approaches (thoughts, behaviours), acquire new skills (more tools for your psychological toolbox), and/or gain new perspectives. There is no single "right way" to "do therapy". We will "do therapy" your way, at your pace.
