Fees

$200 - 50 minute session (Current at 1/1/2024)

Please note that professional psychological associations APS and AAPI recommend fees of $300 per 45-60 minute session. As such, my fees are substantially discounted and no further discounts can be applied.

Serendipity Psychology is a registered Medicare, DVA, and WorkCover provider.

We also accept NDIS participants who are self or plan managed for psychological supports.

Accounts

All accounts must be settled at the time of the consultation via direct deposit unless prior arrangements have been made for an alternative funding source (eg. DVA, NDIS, WorkCover)

A Medicare rebate for each session is available ($137.05) with a valid mental health care plan. To be eligible to receive psychological services under Medicare, you must be referred by your GP or psychiatrist. Medicare rebates will be processed at the time of payment and are usually in your Medicare-linked bank account within 24hrs.
Some private health insurers cover psychological service in their extras packages. Contact your private health insurer for further information regarding rebate of psychological consultations.
To be eligible to access services under DVA or WorkCover, you must be referred by your GP under DVA or WorkCover. There is no out of pocket expense for DVA or WorkCover services and these payments are processed by us, however we must have the referral paperwork prior to your first session.
To be eligible to access services under NDIS you must have a valid NDIS number and appropriate support entitlements. If you would like Serendipity Psychology to directly bill your insurer, paperwork authorising this arrangement must be provided prior service.
A $10 admin fee is applied to accounts not paid at the time of the appointment.

Cancellation Policy - 24 hours minimum notice

No fee is payable on appointments changed or cancelled with more than 24 hours notice.

Less than 24 hours notice cancellation or non-attendance - full fee applies.

Cancellation fees must be settled prior to next appointment.

Please note there is no rebate available on cancellation fees.
