Fees

Serendipity Psychology is a registered Medicare, DVA, and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider. 

    • A medicare rebate for each session is available ($86.15) with a valid mental health care plan.  To be eligible to receive psychological services under Medicare, you must be referred by your GP or in some instances by a psychiatrist or a paediatrician. 
    • To be eligible to access services under DVA, you must be referred by your GP under DVA. 
    • To be eligible to access services under NDIS you must have a valid NDIS number and appropriate support entitlements.
    • Some private health insurers cover psychological service in their extras packages. Contact your private health insurer for further information regarding rebate of psychological consultations.

Accounts

All accounts must be settled at the time of the consultation and payment can be made via EFT, credit or Eftpos.  Serendipity Psychology offers HICAPS as an efficient and easy payment processing method for your health fund and Medicare rebates.


If attending under an insurance provider such as NDIS or work cover, your account must be paid in full at the time of service and reimbursed by your insurer. If you would like Serendipity Psychology to directly bill your insurer, paperwork from the third-party authorising this arrangement must be provided at the time of service.




 

Cancellation Policy

No fee is payable on appointments changed or cancelled with more than 24 hours notice. Non-attendance or cancellation with less than 24 hrs notice will incur a cancellation fee of $55.

Any subsequent appointments will not take place until cancellation fees are settled. 


Please note there is no rebate available on cancellation fees.
