Meet Amy...

Dr Amy Manuel (MAPS) - Clinical Psychologist

PhD in Clinical Psychology, Bachelor of Teaching (Primary)

New to the Bundaberg region in 2016, and armed with a strong desire to support individuals to manage their own mental health, Serendipity Psychology was born.  With the introduction of telehealth services across the board, and a move out of the Bundaberg Region in 2022, I have made the transition to providing a telehealth service for individuals 16+.

I am passionate about mental health across the lifespan, and across all socio-cultural groups. I have 10 years experience as a primary and middle school teacher, and in 2012 made the transition (returned to Uni) to become a Clinical Psychologist. Strongly rooted in an attachment based therapeutic framework, I take an integrative approach in my clinical work, drawing from cognitive, behavioural, psychodynamic, and humanistic therapies.

My goal is to support you in learning about your own psychological health and well being. My focus will be on helping you to understand how you function, while providing you with strategies to overcome the specific obstacles you are facing, in an environment that is centred around your emotional needs.
